How many national anthems are written by Rabindra Nath Tagore?

[সম্পাদনা কৰক]

There seems to be no sense in being unduly enthusiastic due to any unsolicited contentions by bloggers or news paper's articles that are not even based on secondary evidence. Govt of Sri Lanka's official website is referred.[1]. Plagiarism to be proved , if any JBDVIJASDVI (talk) 12:34, 8 August 2015 (UTC)

Sri Lanka's national anthem was also penned by Tagore: Apa Sri Lanka , Nama Nama Nama Nama Mata, Sundar Sri Boroni was originally Nama Nama Sri Lanka Mata in Bangla, written and set to its tune by Tagore. He did it at the request of his favourite Sri Lankan student at Santiniketan, Ananda Samarkun, in 1938. In 1940, Ananda returned to his native land and translated the song into Sinhalese and recorded it in Tagore's tune.[2] দিব্য দত্ত (talk) 13:16, 8 August 2015 (UTC)
So far as getting inspiration from Rabindra Nath Tagore by Ananda Samarkone in writing the Sri Lanka's National Anthem, such contention appears to be unfounded. Referring a quote[3] "....The remarkable nature and attribute of Sri Lanka’s national anthem is that it sings paeans of patriotic praise to the country alone and not to any race or religion, It is not parochial. It unifies the nation. It does not need any Tamil or English treatment. Leave it alone. Do not kill the great poet for the second time....." JBDVIJASDVI (talk) 13:27, 8 August 2015 (UTC)

Who knows? Hypocrites may someday even claim that the Sri Lanka's National Anthem was written in Sinhalese Bengali like something that hypothetical Sanskritized Bengali of which grammar seems incomprehensible JBDVIJASDVI (talk) 14:06, 8 August 2015 (UTC)
